Here's my Valentine's inspiration! I don't really own anything in pink this bright, but once I saw it at the store (and noticed it's marked down price tag) I thought it was perfect, and just in time for Valentine's Day. I don't own any midi skirts just because I thought it would definitely shorten my stature, but with a nice pair of heels, it goes perfectly. These heels, btw, are my recent conquest. Instead of forking over $80+ over at Steve Madden for their Dynemite heels, I got these for about $32 with free shipping if you ship to a store. Payless has been upping their game lately and I'm loving it!

This really wasn't our Valentine's date, but more like a pre-date. We finally got to try out Starling Diner and it was awesome. Picture will be posted once Brains gets to editing them for his blog. For the real Valentine's Day, I had a group meeting that took up most of the day and got to come home to a freshly-baked, homemade chocolate bundt cake and hand-dipped white chocolate strawberries (for some reason I was never really keen on regular chocolate). I'm still munching on them as we speak, gotta love a gift that keeps giving lol. Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day, what did you all get to do?

It's been ages since I posted something new! These babies were a Christmas present from the brains, but I picked them out hah. They're pretty tall, but absolutely comfortable! Lately I've been trying to find colorful shoes since my collection is rather neutral. It's so hard to say no to neutral colored shoes though, anyone else have this problem? The necklace was from H&M, I saw it on the website a couple months ago and thought I missed out since it wasn't in-store anymore, but last week I was pleasantly surprised! #teenvogue #neighborhoodies

Thanks for all the lovely birthday messages everyone sent, I loved it ;] I had an awesome birthday, filled with tons of love and wine drinking and cake eating. Although I started school on the same day, it was still awesome. I still don't have that much time to contact everyone back on questions and such, but will get to it soon, hopefully this weekend. School work is already piling up and I'm afraid I'll get left behind with tons of readings! 

I tried to sneak some time in my day to get an outfit post in. The dress was actually during the after christmas shopping season. I got it for a whopping $5! It's also a LARGE, which is the majority of my clothing these days, but I make do with what I can. I just used the belt to scrunch up extra fabric and mixed in some clogs, perfect fit!

The other day we started using all my free birthday treats! My outfit was pretty relaxed and prioritized comfort. There's nothing more important to me than being comfortable when I'm about to stuff myself silly! haha. So excited about this part of my birthday, it's what I wait for all year ;] School starts tomorrow and I am relishing all the free minutes I have before then.  I have an 8 hour school day ahead of me and already missing winter break!

PS, Due to the fact that it will be my birthday in a few hours and the first couple days of school coming up, I won't be able to answer or say hi to those who comment! Forgive me!

These past couple of days my friend abi stayed with us and we had a string of funny days. Yesterday we stopped by some asian markets to get some snacks for her to munch on while she drove back to Norcal. It's less than a week until my birthday and when school starts and I am trying to relish whatever free time I have left before the craziness of school.
